Workshop Description

Who isn’t fascinated by the imaginary world inhabiting an intricate dollhouse? Have an interest in building houses & interior design? Bring your ideas to life in this 4 week workshop. Meeting each Monday from 5:30-6:30. Recycled & some new materials will be repurposed. Additional classes can be scheduled if you'd like to continue. Each week we'll be focusing on different parts of the process. 10/16 - The first Monday - putting our ideas to paper for the general look/shape of the house. We'll be planning the design of your house or use an existing design & build it using cardboard & hot glue. 10/23 - We'll be adding wall & flooring design. Using either paint or "wall paper" & adding floor details. 10/30 - Designing & creating furniture to size (as much as possible). Miniature furniture is maybe the most fun part of this project. 11/6 - Finishing up with adding accessories. All the little details such as blankets, pillows, curtains, flowers .... it's really whatever your imagination dreams up. Class runs for 1 hour each week. Sign up for each week or pick which ones. All supplies included.
